Without the Spirit, there is no life
Spiritual life does not come from human ability. It is God’s work in us through the Holy Spirit.
Simples Assim, Jesus begins with a calm and grounded presence: the devotional of the day, a public library, and a multilingual experience prepared from the start.

Devotional
A person can try to lead their life with good intentions, discipline, and effort. But when it comes to life with God, there is a limit we cannot cross on our own.
In Zechariah 4:6, the Lord says, “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit.” That word was given in a time of rebuilding, when the work ahead was greater than human strength could sustain. And the message still speaks today: what God begins is not held together by human strength alone.
Jesus points to the same truth in John 6:63 when He says, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all.” The flesh, in this sense, shows the limits of human effort trying to produce spiritual life on its own. We may be able to keep a religious form for a while, but only the Holy Spirit brings true life to the heart.
Depending on the Spirit does not mean we stop taking action. It means our actions need to come from God’s direction. Life with Christ is not sustained by personal decision, religious habit, or willpower alone. It needs to be led by the Spirit.
In Romans 8:14, Paul says that all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. That shows us that the Christian walk is not about trying to live for God on our own. It is a life guided by Him.
That is why recognizing our dependence on the Holy Spirit is an essential part of faith. We need God in order to live the life God calls us to live.
Today, do not rely only on your own strength.
Ask the Holy Spirit to lead your life in Christ.
Prayer
Holy Spirit, guide my life. Teach me to depend on You and not only on my own strength. Let my faith be led by Your presence, and help me live in Christ with truth. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
