United in Christ
Faith in Christ calls us to live as part of one body before God.
Simples Assim, Jesus begins with a calm and grounded presence: the devotional of the day, a public library, and a multilingual experience prepared from the start.
Faith in Christ calls us to live as part of one body before God.
Devotional
Scripture calls us to look at faith with seriousness. In Ephesians 4:4-5, it says, “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism.”
Paul wrote these words after urging the brothers and sisters to walk with humility, meekness, and patience, “endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:2-3). Unity does not come from human interest. It comes from the work of God in us.
When faith turns into a dispute, the heart begins to move away from what matters most. Christ did not call us to defend pride, preference, or position. He called us to live before Him as people reached by the same grace.
In 1 Corinthians 12:12, Scripture teaches that “as the body is one, and hath many members,” all the members form one body. This image helps us understand the church of Christ. Different people, different stories, different limitations, yet called to belong to the same Lord.
Every day, we need to return to the center of faith. Christ is Lord. When He has His rightful place in us, we learn to treat others with more care and reject anything that turns faith into separation.
Prayer
Lord, deliver us from anything that leads us away from Your truth. Help us live a simple and sincere faith, firmly grounded in Christ. Teach us to walk in peace before You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
