Rest in God
Jesus calls the weary heart to come near to Him, because true rest grows from trusting His presence.
Simples Assim, Jesus begins with a calm and grounded presence: the devotional of the day, a public library, and a multilingual experience prepared from the start.

Devotional
There are days when the soul feels heavy. We think too much, carry worries, and try to keep everything under control. Little by little, the heart grows tired within.
Jesus knows this weariness. In Matthew 11:28, He says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
This invitation does not ignore the troubles of life. Jesus does not treat our pain as something small. He calls us near to Him in the middle of what we still cannot resolve.
Resting in God begins when we stop carrying alone what must be surrendered to the Lord. Some concerns require responsibility, but some burdens reveal our attempt to control what belongs to God.
Hebrews 13:5 gives a simple and firm promise: “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” This word sustains the heart when we still do not have clear answers.
Every day, we need to learn to return to Christ with sincerity. The rest He gives reaches the weary soul and helps us continue without losing trust in God’s care.
Prayer
Lord, we surrender our worries and anguish to You. Give rest to our hearts and help us trust Your care. In Jesus’ name, amen.
