Do Not Live Consumed by Fear. Look to Christ, Not to the Chaos.
When the heart becomes fixed on the noise of the world, peace grows weak. Christ calls us to turn our thoughts toward God.
Simples Assim, Jesus begins with a calm and grounded presence: the devotional of the day, a public library, and a multilingual experience prepared from the start.
When the heart becomes fixed on the noise of the world, peace grows weak. Christ calls us to turn our thoughts toward God.
Devotional
We live surrounded by news, opinions, and concerns. The heart tries to keep up with everything, understand everything, and control what is beyond our reach. Over time, the soul becomes tired.
In Colossians 3:2, Scripture says, “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”
This verse does not call us to escape reality. It calls us to care for the place where the heart rests. The world remains unstable, but our trust does not have to be shaped by every crisis, every fear, or every difficult report.
Some situations require responsibility. We need to act with wisdom, do our part, and face what is before us. But the heart needs to recognize its limits. Not everything is in our hands.
When our thoughts remain fixed on chaos, fear grows. When we turn the heart back to Christ, we remember that God remains above every circumstance and stays with us on the way.
Every day, we need to watch what fills our minds. Peace begins to find room when we stop feeding fear and turn our eyes back to the Lord.
Prayer
Lord, guard our hearts from anxiety and fear. Help us trust You when circumstances feel unstable. Teach us to turn our thoughts toward what comes from God. In Jesus’ name, amen.
