Let the Holy Spirit Lead You

The Holy Spirit leads the heart into the truth of Christ and helps us walk with God in everyday life.

Devotional

Jesus prepared His disciples to continue the walk without seeing Him physically. In John 16:13, He said, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.”

This word also speaks to us. There are moments when we want to make every decision by our own strength. We think too much, react from weariness, and look for direction only within ourselves.

Life with God needs the leading of the Holy Spirit. He brings us to the truth of Christ and helps us see what the heart, on its own, often cannot recognize.

Being led by the Spirit does not mean waiting for signs in everything. It means learning to submit the heart to Scripture, recognizing God’s voice with humility, and allowing Him to correct us when we are following paths that seem right but draw us away from Christ.

Every day, we need to ask the Holy Spirit for a sensitive heart. Those who belong to Christ do not have to walk surrendered to their own confusion. God still leads His own.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, guide our hearts in truth. Teach us to hear Your direction through Scripture and help us remain in the way of Jesus. In Jesus’ name, amen.
