You Were Created to Glorify God
God’s grace reminds us that life has meaning when the heart learns to live for Him in everyday life.
Simples Assim, Jesus begins with a calm and grounded presence: the devotional of the day, a public library, and a multilingual experience prepared from the start.
God’s grace reminds us that life has meaning when the heart learns to live for Him in everyday life.
Devotional
In Ephesians 1:6, Paul writes, “To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
This word helps us look at the purpose of life. God has reached us in Christ, and that changes the way we see what we do, what we seek, and how we live.
Many times, we run after acceptance, security, and recognition. The heart tries to find value in things that pass away. Little by little, life can become tiring within.
Ephesians 1:6 reminds us that we have been received by the grace of God in the Beloved, who is Christ. From that grace, life finds a different center. Glorifying God begins when we recognize that we belong to Him.
This appears in everyday life. In the choices we make when no one is watching. In the way we treat people. In the sincerity with which we return to God when we realize we have drifted.
Every day, we need to remember that living for God’s glory is not about building a spiritual appearance. It is allowing Christ to take the heart and guide our life before the Father.
Prayer
Lord, teach us to live for Your glory in everyday life. Guard our hearts from seeking worth away from You, and help us live with sincerity before the Father. In Jesus’ name, amen.
