A New Life Begins in God, You Must Be Born Again
The new life that comes from God begins in the heart and leads us to receive Jesus with true faith.
Simples Assim, Jesus begins with a calm and grounded presence: the devotional of the day, a public library, and a multilingual experience prepared from the start.
The new life that comes from God begins in the heart and leads us to receive Jesus with true faith.
Devotional
Many people know words about God, spend time in religious settings, and try to improve their lives. Still, the heart can remain far from the Lord.
In John 1:12-13, Scripture says that those who received Jesus and believed on His name were given power to become the sons of God. This birth does not come from human will, but from God.
This truth places us before something we cannot produce by ourselves. We can correct habits and change behavior, but only God can bring new life to the heart.
Jesus also spoke about this in John 3:3: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The new birth begins when the heart yields to Christ and starts living before the Father.
Faith should not be only an attempt to appear better. God wants to deal with life within, where our motives, fears, and hidden places remain.
Every day, we need to ask whether we are only trying to improve outwardly or allowing God to bring true life within us.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I need the life that comes from You. Touch my heart and bring true faith to life within me. Teach me to live before the Father with sincerity. In Jesus’ name, amen.

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
