God Cares for His Children, Evil Does Not Rule Your Life
Those who belong to Christ may face struggles, but they do not have to live ruled by fear of evil.
Simples Assim, Jesus begins with a calm and grounded presence: the devotional of the day, a public library, and a multilingual experience prepared from the start.
Those who belong to Christ may face struggles, but they do not have to live ruled by fear of evil.
Devotional
Fear can take up too much room within us. Sometimes it appears when we think about the future, the threats around us, or the battles taking place in the heart.
In 1 John 5:18, Scripture says, “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.”
This truth calls us to trust. Those who belong to God are not left to themselves. The Lord knows our weakness and keeps His children on the way.
This does not remove every struggle. We still need to watch the heart, recognize wrong desires, and return to Christ when we notice that we are drifting away. The safety of God’s child is not found in personal strength, but in the care of the Father.
Many times, fear grows when we move away from God’s presence. The conscience becomes heavy, choices lose direction, and the heart begins to imagine dangers greater than the Lord’s faithfulness.
Today, look at your life with sincerity. Evil does not have to rule your heart. Stay near to Jesus and rest in God’s care.
Prayer
Lord, guard our hearts from fear and strengthen our trust in You. Help us remain near to Jesus and live under Your care. In Jesus’ name, amen.
