Gratitude in Every Season, Give Thanks Even in Difficult Times
Gratitude matures when we recognize God’s care especially on difficult days.
Simples Assim, Jesus begins with a calm and grounded presence: the devotional of the day, a public library, and a multilingual experience prepared from the start.

Devotional
There are seasons when life feels heavy. The heart looks at loss, concerns, and what still has not been resolved.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Scripture says, “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
The Bible does not ask us to pretend that pain does not exist. Giving thanks in everything does not mean enjoying suffering or calling what hurts good. It means remembering that God remains present, even when life is not as we wished it would be.
Gratitude helps us see life with greater truth. When the heart only complains, we lose sight of God’s care in simple things. There is still provision, there is still mercy, there is still the presence of the Lord along the way.
We all go through days when giving thanks feels difficult. On those days, gratitude may begin quietly. Sometimes it starts when we recognize that God has carried us this far.
Today, before complaint takes over the heart, pause for a moment. Remember God’s care and surrender to Him what still feels heavy within you.
Prayer
Lord, teach us to give thanks even on difficult days. Open our eyes to recognize Your care and guard our hearts from complaint. In Jesus’ name, amen.
