The Word Sustains Life
All creation is upheld by the Word of God, and that same truth reaches us in uncertain seasons. When fear shakes our sense of security, Christ reminds us that life remains under His rule and we can trust Him.

Devotional
Hebrews 1:3 says that Christ upholds all things by the word of His power. This truth brings us face to face with something greater than what we can see: nothing continues by chance or by its own strength.
We may forget this when life feels steady. A loss or an unexpected change can quickly expose how little control we actually have. Anxiety grows when we try to hold together what was never fully in our hands.
God’s Word brings us back to reality. Christ continues to uphold all things when our own lives feel unstable. Pain remains real, and some problems stay with us for a season. Scripture corrects the thought that we are alone in what we are facing.
Psalm 119:105 presents God’s Word as light for our path. We may not receive every answer we want about the future. Often, God gives enough clarity for the next step and teaches us to trust Him as we move forward.
Your mind may be tired from trying to predict what will happen. Return to Scripture with honesty. Let the truth of who Christ is reach the fear that has occupied your heart and steady your trust in Him.
Prayer
Lord, when fear weakens my trust, remind me that Christ upholds all things. Steady my heart through Your Word and guide my steps. In Jesus’ name, amen.
