Receive What Christ Has Done for You
God’s grace reaches those who cannot produce their own righteousness. In Christ, we receive redemption and can draw near to the Lord without hiding our guilt or trying to repay grace through personal merit.

Romans 3:21-24 shows that God’s righteousness is revealed through faith in Jesus Christ. Paul declares that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory, yet believers are justified freely by His grace through the redemption found in Christ.
This truth confronts a deep need within us: proving that we deserve to be accepted. We try to do this by accumulating good works, seeking approval, or using religious effort to quiet our guilt. Even after coming to Christ, we may continue living as though God were waiting for us to make up for our failures.
Paul turns our attention to a work we could never accomplish. Redemption was not built through our performance. Christ gave His life for sinners and opened the way for reconciliation with God.
Receiving this grace requires humility. We must stop hiding our failures behind a respectable appearance and release the attempt to negotiate our acceptance. Holiness still belongs in the Christian life, yet it grows from a heart reached by grace, not from someone trying to purchase the Lord’s love.
Look at your life in light of this truth. Perhaps you are carrying guilt Christ has already carried, or trying to earn what God gives by grace. Your hope is in Him.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for the redemption I have received in You. Free me from trying to earn Your acceptance and teach me to respond to Your grace with humility, trust, and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, amen.
