Trust, Even When Your Eyes Still Cannot See

Hebrews 11:1-3 describes faith as the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things we cannot yet see. This reaches the anxiety of anyone who needs to know the ending before taking the next step.

Often, our responsibility is clear while the outcome remains hidden. We may need to apologize, make a difficult decision, remain honest, or wait patiently without knowing what will happen afterward. Faith becomes real in that space where obedience does not give us control over the result.

The passage reminds us that the universe was formed by the word of God. The Lord works within a reality greater than what our eyes can perceive. Trusting Him does not mean denying facts, abandoning wisdom, or calling something a promise that God has not given. It means admitting our limits and resting in a faithfulness that does not depend on our ability to predict the future.

Perhaps you are trying to reduce uncertainty by collecting more scenarios and answers. Pay attention to what the Word has already made clear. Act responsibly and entrust the rest to the Lord. The waiting may continue, but your heart does not have to remain without direction.

1 ¶ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
