Speak of Jesus Through Your Life

The strongest testimony grows from a life transformed by the light of Christ.

Devotional

Jesus taught that the life of those who follow Him should point to God. In Matthew 5:16, He said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

This light does not come from trying to look better. It appears when Christ transforms the heart, and that change begins to shape the way we live.

Daily testimony is seen in simple attitudes. The way we treat people, how we respond to conflict, and how we choose truth also speak about our faith. Many times, before someone hears about Jesus, that person notices what His presence is producing in us.

In 1 Peter 2:12, Scripture teaches us to keep our conduct honest among those who do not yet know God, so that, when they see good works, they may glorify Him. This reminds us that faith is also seen in ordinary life.

A transformed life does not draw attention to us. It points to the Father. When Christ holds the center of the heart, our actions begin to reflect something of His grace.

Every day, we need to ask the Lord to let our lives reveal His light with simplicity and truth.

Prayer

Lord, let our lives reflect who You are. Guard our hearts and help us live in such a way that others may recognize Your light in us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
