There are moments when a decision reveals more than a simple preference. It shows where the heart is truly set.
In John 10:19-21, after Jesus spoke, there was division among the Jews. Some rejected His words and said He had a devil. Others recognized that His works could not be explained as madness.
The same voice was heard by all, but not all responded in the same way. This still happens. Many hear about Jesus, know something about Him, and even respect His name, while keeping the heart far from Him.
The question does not remain only in the mind. Who is Jesus to you when He touches your desires, your decisions, and the places you still want to control? That answer appears in the way we live, not only in what we say we believe.
Christian faith begins when we stop treating Jesus as a distant reference and begin to trust Him as the Son of God. That trust touches pride, confronts indifference, and calls the heart to come near.
We all need to look at Jesus with sincerity. The decision before Him should not be delayed as though it were a small thing.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, open our eyes to know You truly. Guard our hearts from indifference, and help us respond to Your voice with sincere faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.
