Jesus Does Not Lose His Own, Eternal Life Begins in Christ

Those who come to Jesus find a faithful Savior, who receives the tired heart and keeps those the Father has given Him. Eternal life begins in Christ, because in Him there is forgiveness, security, and hope for those who draw near with sincerity.

Devotional

In John 6:37-40, Jesus says, “him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”

This word reaches people who carry the fear of rejection. Some approach God with fear, as though they must prove their worth before being received. Others look at their failures and believe they have lost the right to return.

Jesus speaks differently. He receives those who come to Him. His faithfulness does not rest on the unstable strength of our heart, but on the will of the Father and the work of the Son.

This brings rest to the soul. Salvation is not held by our control. It is in Christ, who came to do the will of the Father and give eternal life to those who believe.

Those who belong to Jesus are not treated carelessly. He knows our weakness, our falls, and our fears. Still, He calls the heart near and sustains those who trust Him.

Today, come to Christ with sincerity. Bring Him the fear of not being accepted. Those who draw near to Him find a Savior who receives and keeps.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I come to You with all that I am. Receive my heart, strengthen my faith, and keep my life in Your hands. Teach me to rest in the Father’s faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, amen.
