Swim Against the Current, Do Not Follow Fear
Faith in Christ forms a heart that is not led by the fear ruling the world around it. Through His Word, God renews the mind and teaches His children to live with sobriety, steadiness, and trust in Him.
Simples Assim, Jesus begins with a calm and grounded presence: the devotional of the day, a public library, and a multilingual experience prepared from the start.

Devotional
In Romans 12:2, Scripture calls us not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind.
This truth reaches daily life. The world around us presses on the heart. News, opinions, crises, and shared fears can shape our thoughts before we notice it. Little by little, we begin to see everything through anxiety, rather than faith.
Swimming against the current begins within us. The mind needs to be shaped by the Word of God. The heart needs to learn what comes from fear and what is born from trust in Christ.
This does not mean living far from reality. It means looking at reality without handing the heart over to despair. Those who belong to Jesus do not need to repeat the same confusion that rules the world. They can act responsibly, think clearly, and remain grounded in God.
There are moments when following Christ will feel like walking against the direction of everything around us. It may seem easier to be carried by anger, hurry, comparison, or fear. The Word calls us to a life guided by God, even when the pressure around us tries to pull the soul away.
Today, ask the Lord for a renewed mind. May Christ govern your thoughts, your reactions, and your decisions.
Prayer
Lord, renew our minds through Your Word. Guard our hearts from the current of fear, and teach us to walk steadily in Christ. In Jesus’ name, amen.
