Live What You Have Learned, Put the Word into Practice
The Word of God must move from hearing into daily conduct. Faith matures when what we learn from Christ begins to shape our decisions, our reactions, and the way we treat people.
Simples Assim, Jesus begins with a calm and grounded presence: the devotional of the day, a public library, and a multilingual experience prepared from the start.

Devotional
In James 1:22, Scripture calls us to be doers of the Word.
This instruction reaches a sensitive part of Christian life. We can hear much about God, know verses, agree with biblical truths, and still resist when the Word touches our attitudes.
Jesus did not teach a faith detached from life. His obedience to the Father was seen in the way He received, corrected, served, and remained faithful. In Him, truth was never separated from the life He lived.
We are called to that same place. A verse we have learned needs to find room in the way we speak at home, in the way we handle work, in the way we treat those who hurt us, and in the decisions we make when no one is watching.
Faith that remains only in speech grows weak within us. The Word takes root when it begins to govern the heart in ordinary situations.
Today, do not try to change everything at once. Pay attention to what God has already shown you. There may be a simple attitude that needs correction, a conversation that needs to be faced, or a decision that needs to obey the Word.
Begin there. Simple obedience also reveals love for Christ.
Prayer
Lord, help us live what we learn in Your Word. Deal with our hearts where we still resist, and teach us to obey with sincerity in the attitudes of each day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Bible reference
