You Do Not Have to See the Whole Result

First Corinthians 3:5-7 presents Paul and Apollos as servants who took part in the same work. Paul planted, Apollos watered, and God gave the increase. Each person had a real part, while the final result remained in the Lord’s hands.

This speaks to the frustration of people who make an effort and see little change. Perhaps you spoke with someone about Jesus, yet that person continued along the same path. You may have cared for someone for a long time without knowing whether your actions made any difference. When no response appears, you can begin to question the value of what you did.

Paul teaches us to recognize the limits of our responsibility. God places certain tasks before us. We can offer an honest word, live consistently, and remain willing to serve. Growth takes place through a process that often extends beyond our timing and understanding.

A seed planted today may be remembered by someone during a future season of life. An act of care may reach a pain that will never be described. You may never know what happened afterward, but God knows every part of the process.

Remain faithful to what the Lord has placed before you. The absence of visible results does not make obedience useless. Entrust to God what your hands can no longer follow.

5 ¶ Who then is Paul, and who [is] Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
